Scheduled 2008 classes for Low Stress PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) courses:
Classes are frequently updated,so check this site often. Classes are given in Riverside, Orange, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Ventura, and San Diego counties.

We schedule multiple low stress PALS provider and PALS renewal classes every month for small groups and individuals. If you need a class not listed here, please call us. We do individual PALS renewal classes. Our goal is to assist you in maintaining your certifications and we work with your schedule.

NEW GUIDELINES!

If you have not previously attended an PALS class, you must attend the complete provider class. You MUST also have a good knowledge of EKG interpretation. Students cannot attend PALS courses if they cannot identify EKG rhythms.

Because of the changes and requirements for the American Heart Association, all students MUST

1.Purchase a textbook. You can order direct from Laerdal.com or call them at 1.888.562.4242. Ask for the PALS Professional Provider Manual with CD. A medical school bookstore such as Loma Linda should have them.

2. Read the book and view the CD.

3. Complete the pre test on the CD, print out the results and bring the book and printout to class.

The classes listed in the next section are AHA and AAP courses in Southern California. The classes are open to anyone and we ask that you call to pre-register. This will help insure the correct student/manikin/instructor ratios.
