- Q: Do you travel to teach the CCRN, CEN and PCCN courses?
A: Yes, we travel nationwide. We are one of the few able to present the Pediatric CCRN, Neonatal CCRN and PCCN review courses. We also present the adult CCRN reviews.
Q: Do you teach American Red Cross classes? A: No. Most registries and healthcare facilities use only the AHA courses. These courses are also preferred by organizations such as JCAHO. We are an American Heart Association authorized Training Site.
Q: Why aren't all your classes listed on the website? A: We do so many classes for small groups or hospitals and they are only open for their own employees. We do several classes per week for people needing immediate renewals or provider classes that it would be difficult to list them on the site. Call us for any questions.
Q: Do you accept credit cards? A: Yes. We accept VISA, MC, Discover.
Q: When do I have to pay for classes? A: We only ask for payment on the day of a class. We do ask that you call to pre-register for a class. In the case of AHA classes, we have an instructor/student ratio we must meet.
Q: Do I get my AHA card the same day as the class? A: Yes, if you pay with cash or with a credit card. If you pay with a check, the check must clear (usually 4-10 days) before we will send out the card.
Q: How long is my ACLS card good for? A: ACLS, PALS and BLS expire at midnight on the last day of the month in which they were issued. The cards are valid for two years.
NRP cards expire at midnight on the exact day they were issued, two years from the date of the class.
Q: Do you hire outside instructors? A: If we hire someone, they are brought in as an independent contractor. We work with instructors who are experts in a particular field and have experience teaching. We require a resume and at least three references.
Q: How do I earn a free class? A: If you arrange for a class attended by at least nine other people plus yourself, your class is free. This applies to any class we offer. Please call us if you need more information. If you arrange a class with four other people, the class is half the cost.

Q: Why do you use the term, "Contact Hours" instead of CEU?
A: The California Board of Registered Nursing uses contact hours. A contact hour is 50 minutes of classroom study and a CEU is a similar term.
